Presentation of the Affluences platforms (mobile application and website)

Affluences mobile application

The Affluences application can be downloaded from the Play Store or Apple Store, is free and ad-free.
When you log on for the first time, you can accept geolocation, which means that the places closest to you will be displayed first. 
If it is not accepted, the user will be located at the last position recorded by their phone. 

A user can be redirected directly to your institutions if it is published on Affluences with a link available on the portal (Administration tab > Distribute Affluences): if the user has not yet downloaded the application, they will be invited to do so via the stores.

Home tab 

On this page, users can find their favourites, their latest searches or institutions close to them. They can search using the search bar or by location.



       1. Search
By clicking on "Search", you can type in the name of the institution you want, or filter the institutions by various parameters. 

 

If the place you're looking for isn't listed, suggest it to us! 

       2. Map 
This button is used to access the search by location. Search filters are also available in this search mode. 

Map card 

The location sheet contains all the practical information you need to prepare your trip: 
  1. Attendance in real time (occupancy rate or waiting time)
  2. Daily forecasts by half-hourly intervals
  3. Opening hours
  4. Current events
  5. Available services
  6. Contact
  7. Additional information (access conditions, interior layout, number of seats, etc.)  
To add a place to your favourites, simply click on the heart at the top right of the title. Favourites will always appear first on the home page.
 

Reservations tab

On this page, users can view their booking history and manage all their bookings.
There is no account to create and no password to remember. All you need to do is :
  1. Add your email address 
  2. Check your email address in the confirmation email
  3. From the application, confirm that the email address has been verified
Reservation history and management are also available, allowing you to add the reservation to your diary or cancel it.
Bookings are sorted by descending booking date.



If QR Code validation of user presence is activated for your institution, users can use the QR code reader from this page, in the top right-hand corner. 

Other tab

On this page, users have access to various parameters and additional information.


Website

The website can be accessed at the following URL: https://affluences.com/.

The home page contains the same information as the application:
  1. The search bar
  2. The different categories of institution
  3. Our job offers
  4. Our FAQs
  5. Our social networks



By clicking on a type of institution, users have access to the same filter tool as on the application.

There's also an invitation to download our mobile application and a number of sections reserved for professionals.

Index card 

On the website, the information in the index card is the same as on the mobile application.


Make a reservation

Reservations via Affluences are just a few clicks away, without having to create an account.

On the page of the desired institution, click on "Book". 

If the institution has set up several types of resource, the first page will direct the user to the right resource according to their categorisation:



After clicking on a resource type (if required), select a slot on the resource you want.

Reservable resources are displayed according to the following criteria:
  1. By availability of places at time T when the user consults the site 
  2. Then in alphabetical and numerical order
Affluences suggests resources that can be booked for the same day. If there are none, users can filter by date or click on : 
  1. From the application: "Next availability". 
  2. From the website: "See availability" on the desired resource
Once you have selected the resource and the slot, click on Book.



To finalise the booking, enter your email address and accept the terms and conditions, then click on Book.



Users must then confirm their booking within 2 hours of receiving the e-mail, failing which the booking will be automatically cancelled.

Once the booking has been confirmed, the user will receive a confirmation email reminding them of their code and the details of the booking. They will also be able to add it to their diary and contact the institution.


The confirmation email will contain the additional information set up by the institution in the Reservations tab. To find out more about this setting on the administrator side: link to the knowledge base

Specific case: making a reservation with SSO authentication

After selecting the resource and the desired slot, the user must click on "Reserve". Then, to finalise the booking, the user must :
  1. Log in using the authentication system. A pop-up window will open:
    1. The user has already authenticated and the pop-up window will close automatically.
    2. The user has not yet authenticated and can do so from this window
Only users with the appropriate rights will be able to access the rest of the booking process.
      2. Accept the general terms and conditions
The e-mail address is given for information only and cannot be changed.
     3. Click on "Book".

The user must then confirm the booking in the e-mail sent to the address indicated. If the booking is not confirmed within 2 hours, it will be automatically cancelled.
Once the booking has been confirmed, the user receives a confirmation email with a summary of the resource and the slot selected.

How do I confirm my booking automatically?

Once the first booking has been confirmed, the user may no longer need to confirm subsequent bookings:
  1. On the application: this operation is only necessary for the first booking. The email address will then be stored in the terminal used and subsequent bookings made with the same email address will be automatically confirmed.
  2. On the website: on the page confirming that their booking has been confirmed, users can click on "Remember me" to save the email address in the browser used from the same device for 30 days, and subsequent bookings from the same browser will be automatically confirmed.

Special cases 

Depending on how the resource is set up, the user may have to enter other information in the booking summary. 

Additional field

Users may be asked to fill in other fields in addition to their e-mail address:
  1. Free field defined from the administration portal
  2. Name
  3. First name
  4. Phone number

Reservation cursor

When the institution sets a resource with the reservation cursor, the user must then select the number of places they wish to book (subject to availability).

Search for institutions faster using playlists

Playlists make it easy for users to find institutions in the same group, and to quickly access information about how busy or closed the institution is:



Available filters (types of institution, services, opening) enable users to refine their search
