Promotion and management of events with the reservation system
This article is an advanced guide to setting up your booking system and promoting your events!
Event creation and setup
To create an event on the portal, simply go to the tab Reservations > Resources and create a new resource.
Don't forget to uncheck the box "Retrieve the institution's default and exceptional hours" and to close all the week's opening hours.
Select the "Multi reservation" button and enter the number of available seats and the duration of the event (the event duration corresponds to the Granularity field) in the reservation details. You can even hide the number of places available from users by selecting the relevant field.
You can also set the following features:
- Hide reservation duration
- You can request activation of the additional fields Last name, First name and Phone number.
Another feature available on request from support (support@affluences.com) is the addition of dynamic forms during the booking process.
Once the resource has been created, the day and time of the event must be specified in the Reservations > Timetables > Exceptional opening hours.

Using the Events tab
You can highlight your facility's events using the Events feature (in >Administration).
Using the Pop-up messages tab
Similar to the Events tab, you can also create a pop-up message!
We advise you to indicate the filtered booking link on the event date to enable the user to book in 1 click!
